 1st Grade TeacherKendra has taught first grade since 2006. She has experience as an elementary reading resource teacher in the public school system and has had the opportunity to substitute teach in many classrooms including pre-k through 6th grade. She obtained her MA in Elementary Education from Saint Xavier University in Chicago with middle school endorsements in language arts and social science. Additionally, she holds a BA in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Drake University in Iowa. Kendra was raised in a Jewish family and became a Christian in the early years of her marriage. Kendra and her husband of twenty years raise their three teenage sons in Alsip, Illinois.
