Science

Middle school science class is a perfect opportunity to reveal that all truth is God’s truth. The orderly universe testifies to the truth that God is Creator, and He controls every part of the natural world, which we study in science. God uses creation to teach eternal truth and bring glory to Himself.  Three basic topics are covered in middle school science.

The Earth Science units cover earthquakes, volcanoes, rocks and minerals, earth’s waters, and weather and climate

The Life Science units cover viruses and bacteria, protists and fungi, plants, seed plants, cell structure and function, cell processes, and heredity and genetics.

The Physical Science units cover matter; forces; solids, liquids, and gases; forces in fluids; atoms and the Periodic Table of Elements; work and machines; chemical bonds and reactions; energy and motion; and sound and light.
