PTF

    The Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF) works with the school to implement and support many programs that the students enjoy, the teachers appreciate, and the school counts on.  Meetings are held once a month to conduct business and report on fund-raising efforts and goals of the school.  

Through fund-raising efforts, resources are provided for the following: all-school assemblies; athletic program enhancement; classroom supplies; D.A.R.E. program; field trips; 5th grade trip to Camp Timber-lee; 8th grade trip to Silver Birch Ranch (each trip being part of the curriculum for 5th and 8th grade): room parties for the four classroom parties each year; school-wide equipment and supplies; service offerings; Spiritual Life projects; staff appreciation; tuition assistance, and a tithe to Deer Creek Christian Church. In addition, PTF provides Deer Creek Christian School with substantial funds towards the school budget to impact the cost of tuition directly.

Each year PTF draws up a budget and sets up fundraisers.
